(D-89) Put on the Full Armor of God

After a battle, only the living stands. All others lie down... dead.

In the spiritual battle, the fight is not against flesh and blood. It is against the spiritual forces of evil in the havenly realms. Spiritual battle is supernatural. Thus our own power is inevitably powerless against such supernatural power. The only way to win the spiritual battle is, therefore, to follow the supernatural way, the way of the Lord, our Commander.

He is telling us to put on the full, not partial, armor of God. It is because that is the only way to be able to stand our ground and to stand after the battle is over.

God wants us to be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. He wants us to stand after the spiritual battle. To be able to do so, He is telling us to put on the full armor of God, the whole pieces of it. I will explore more about them one at a time.

Please pray for:

* Our complete realization of the supernatural nature of the spiritual warfare

* Our total dependence on Jesus and His power, none of our own

* Our strong desire to be able to stand after the spiritual battle is over
